We are looking for a Social Media Manager to be Splash Math’s social voice and lead its social media strategy to boost brand presence and customer engagement.




  1. In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest) and the ability to adapt content to each of these platforms
  2. Content Strategy: Understand content creation and curation and know when, what and where to share content.
  3. Engagement Strategy: Set clear objectives to improve online reputation, declining customer retention, brand awareness, etc. Consistently maintain a dialogue with the audience and encourage them to interact with the brand.
  4. Analytics: Use metrics to measure leads, drive rationale and growth, identify opportunities and make informed decisions.
  5. Promotion Strategy: Leverage Facebook/Instagram or other social media channels to promote content, and increase audience reach and referral traffic. Gauge which content/ad/post should be promoted within an optimum budget.
  6. SEO Strategy: Working knowledge of the principles of SEO including keyword research and Google Analytics. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of “Search and Social.”
  7. Viral marketing approach: Diverse range of skills in new media, creativity, content, and communications. Identify the target demographic for our product & create content which consumers will want to share with others.
  8. Blog: Follow a blogging schedule & develop a content strategy. Measure traffic and quality of traffic with the goal of improving organic rankings on search engines.


  1. Consistently come up with new and engaging ideas, creative initiatives and campaigns to capitalize on events and ride the marketing wave.
  2. Create a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.
  3. Leverage the right tools such as FB Creators Studio, Sprout Social, Buffer, Hootsuite or similar to manage content and monitor trends.
  4. Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification.
  5. Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns. Experiment, analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
  6. Generate, edit, & publish content (original text, images, video) that builds engagement and encourage the target audience to use our product.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or marketing with strong digital/content marketing knowledge.
  • At least 3+years of experience in content management and social media marketing role, having demonstrated an impact on visits and engagement through creating highly engaging content.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to closely collaborate with content, design and marketing team.
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop and video editing will be a plus.
  • Experience working with education- or children-related brands will be a plus.
